I achieved level 90 in Freeletics after 1169 workouts. Lots of burpees, push-ups, lunges, mountain climbers, pull-ups...
However, in 2022 I neglected nutrition, and my body shape is not as good aesthetically as it was a few years ago. It's okay because I prefer enjoying life a bit more, rather than forcing myself to follow a diet and being miserable in the process. I need to find a balance between eating what I want, and when I want it, without excesses.
Another problem is that I'm sitting at a computer for more than 8 hours a day. That doesn't help my body at all. I feel pain in my lower back most days. For 2023, one of my goals is to improve my overall posture by doing exercises to strengthen the lower traps and by relaxing my chest and shoulders. I will continue to do Freeletics, but I don't want to rush to achieve level 100.
I will also do as much cardio as I can. Now I'm in Bangkok, and I'm swimming ~1000 meters daily. Barcelona's winters aren't inviting to the pool, so I will run every day as I did in 2022. I don't enjoy it at all, but increasing the number of daily steps, helps my mental health and my overall mood. It's an effective and cost-free antidepressant.
