When your life is going well, you tend to see everything as positive. Whereas when things aren't as you expect, you tend to see yourself as a failure.
Circumstances may change, but you need to remain steady. Don't let panic or euphoria invade your way of thinking.
For example, during July and August, the uncertainty created by the pandemic and the lockdown made you feel low. It seemed like this crisis was never going to an end. Although you tried to avoid the news, it was inevitable to get some input. If it wasn't on TV, it was on the internet. Too much noise to not pay attention to.
Lasts weeks have brought opposite news. With a new US president and governments buying vaccines, euphoria has invaded the markets. People believe that everything is going to be back to normal before the next summer, but nothing is for granted—despite death.
The lesson here is to be patient.
Nothing is so bad as you think it is. The opposite is also true, don't be too euphoric when things go well because the streak will eventually end.
It always happens.
So, the next time you see something as a failure, it probably isn't as bad as you think. When you see something as a success, have in mind that it won't last forever.
